The rooms are lovely, spacious, good light through the windows, hotel is right near the ocean, baked goods for breakfast were very yummy. Shamrocks Pub is right next door with great food and beer.

I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

We got aa free upgrade and really enjoyed our stay at the Cashel House!
