There was a park at the entrance for children and the nearby stream had eels that kids would also enjoy. About 1Km walk to Sprig & Fern restaurant which was handy. Location would also suit many as it was right next to a railway station that went to Wellington CBD (and access for business or the cableway to the Botanical Gardens).
