Visitor Centre = 40 min drive Highly recommended to stay at TePopo Gardens instead of the towns around.

Very cozy, clean and beautiful place to stay. We stayed for 2 days, the facilities are very clean and great. Little City close by for food and amenities. I highly recommend the place, very quiet and beautiful view of the egmount.

Location to Mt Taranaki walking trails. Dinner was good. Secure yard for car. Small kitchen to make coffee and cook toast. Microwave and fridge.

Super friendly hosts who showed us around their herb garden and explained lots about the lavender farm and we were able to walk around the grounds. Kitchenette equipment meant we could cook meals which was a bonus, and TV etc. helped in the wet weather. Lovely cat on the property (but not in the studio) as well which we loved. Testers for the lavender products were so cute!

The place is very special, one of the best I've been to in NZ so far. The location is perfect and I loved the building. Everything was very clean and cosy. George is a really sweet host. I can only warmly recommend his B&B!

What a gorgeous cosy and comfortable cottage. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. From the normal tea, coffee, sugar plus bread, butter, 3 different cereals, bacon and fresh eggs (from their free range friendly greens), a loaf of bread, 1 ltr milk, plus plus plus! Will definitely be back if we're ever back in the area
