Everything was perfect. We booked the room with a balcony. Perfect view, typical Italian. It was very clean and spacious room. Veronica was an angel and was always there for everything you need. Also, breakfast was included in the price. The parking is in front of the building, if you have a luck you will find a spot for your car, but nothing is guaranteed. Overall, one of the best experiences! Highly recommended!

Great location near the centre of Alghero. Toiletries and excellent coffee were provided. Particularly good shower. Beds were comfortable and apartment was clean. Perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay, excellent value for money.

Very clean apartment, with all necessary equipment provided (fridge, hair dryer, etc., even an espresso machine). Located in a quiet, remote area, but the city center of Alghero is still reachable within 15 minutes. Owner was very welcoming and friendly.

This place is unique. The renovation of the old barracks, the location, views and respect for its place in an ecologic park make for a beautiful, relaxing, bespoke experience. The staff are so warm and friendly always happy to help & guide but also give you space. Simone, Doris and the team really make you feel welcome. I commend them for trying to offer high quality alternative low impact tourism. The food is excellent, locally sourced, probably the best in Alghero. The rooms are well appointed too. The rifugio is in the ecological protected site so the only neighbours you have are birds, foxes, plants and trees. It's a good walk up from the carpark about 40 mins but there is an electric shuttle bus. We used bikes to get around which was simple and a great way to explore. There are gorgeous little quiet coves for swimming in the park you get them to yourselves. If you are the sort of person who enjoys being independent, nature, walking, cycling, good architecture and food then this is certainly a great place to stay. If you prefer lying by a pool and and being near facilities then I would recommend coming the the restaurant at least once to see what you think. The rifugio is in its first year, I suspect it will become very popular indeed.

Stefano is a fabulous host who made us very welcome. We were in the coral room, I liked how the place was decorated with specific details, coral ornaments and a huge Tv to complement everything. We also found a small bottle of Mirto on the bed for the warm welcome. The room was very clean, quiet and above all comfortable especially the bed. lovely bathroom too. Everything in good working order almost new. Even if not exactly in the city center but within reach, if in the future we happen again in Alghero, we will definitely choose Sunshine Charming Houses.

Excellent location, the staff were very helpful and provided us tips and information, easy parking close to the room (at least during end of June when we were there). The room was spacious and clean and comfortable for 2 people!

Loved everything. The bedroom has everything you can need, a comfortable bed, a fridge with cool water ready when you arrive, an en-suite bathroom with all the essential and umbrella and towels for the beach, the tv and the air conditioning, etc. The breakfast the following morning was excellent. Very accommodating for the check in and the check out. I would totally recommend the property.
