Magnea and Greg are very warm hosts and have created a charming place to stay.
The rooms are very cozy and clean and have everything you need.
The shared kitchen and the charming winter garden were also great. It was a wonderful place to linger and chat with the other guests.
The kitchen itself is well equipped for cooking. Magnea and Greg had very good recommendations for activities in the area and selfoss was a great base for horse riding, driving to the golden circle and hiking to hot springs.
We can highly recommend this accommodation.

The staff and the owners are super friendly, there is a hot tub and a sauna for everybody, breakfast was really good (fresh made waffles!!!), the beds were so comfy and the guesthouse is the perfect spot for day tours all over the region - it feels like staying for some days! We were allowed to feed their animals and got lots of good suggestions what to do. Check in was the easiest I have ever seen. Go there!

NetherlandsThe home and the location was wonderfull. Our 3 year old son is normally scared of dogs but he loved Mowi and Katla. He played every day with them. The dogs are so friendly to childeren and we enjoyed their company so much. Thank you Heima Holiday Homes for a great stay! I would recomment this place to everyone.

It feels like home, nice, spacious and the decorations are lovely. We are group of family (6 people) and there are 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living area with TV, 2 sofas, 1 bathrooms which is suitable for us. We can also go to the receptions nearby to get complimentary drink (e.g. coffee, coco, juice) and use shared toilet when needed. Basically a 3 people room in a 20-foot container inkl. toilet and shower. After my booking, the operators got in touch to really make sure, that I knew what i booked… in my case: I did. Coffee and tea are complimentary in the restaurant, that was a nice touch. Breakfast can be bought. The bathroom is a little small and a little dated but functional. Bed was super comfortable and it was nice to sleep next to a large window with a beautiful view in the morning. I didn’t eat at their common area but it was always open for refreshments. I used it to fill up my tea thermos in the morning, and they had a nice selection of tea and some coffee, juices, water, as well.
