I had a wonderful experience staying at this brand new hotel in Varanasi. It’s conveniently accessible from the highway and located just a short drive from the airport, making it ideal for both tourists and business travelers. The owner is extremely cooperative and helpful, going out of the way to ensure guests are comfortable. The service was excellent – prompt, polite, and professional at all times. Despite being a new property, the hotel is well-maintained and offers all the modern amenities one would expect. Best of all, it’s very economical, offering great value for the price. THE ROMA HOMESTAY is situated in a quiet lane, away from the chaos and bustle of the city, It's an island of peace, a perfect haven for a holiday and perfect place to relax. Very close to Sarnath just ten minute walk to all the sights. Varanasi city is a 30 minute rickshaw or car ride away so easily can spend time there then retreat to the peaceful home away from home at Roma Home Stay. The rooms are airconditioned and tastefully decorated. I stayed in one of the well presented rooms which was great, bathroom was exceptionally clean. They also have one bedroom apartments with cooking and washing facilities which I will book next time I visit. The staff are very welcoming, kind and happy to attend to your needs. Also there is a delightful roof top terrace with lots of plants and a place to sit especially in the evenings also great for meditating and yoga. The Homestay comes with complimentary breakfast, free wi-fi and all support services for sight seeing for a price. I have travelled extensively in India and I highly recommend this property as it's been the best homestay yet. Look forward to returning soon and thanks to The Roma Homestay

After a year of travelling- we have to say this is right up there as one of our favourite stays. The host, Rahul, is brilliant. Always on hand to offer assistance & is extremely friendly. The food cooked by Rahul’s mother was by far and away our favourite to date in India. We highly recommend you eat at the homestay. The whole family were extremely welcoming- inviting us up to their rooftop for snacks and to enjoy the sun. We really felt like part of the family! The room & bathroom facilities were extremely clean and tidy, with hot water available. Laundry is also available on site. The table tennis table provided fun during quieter moments and I can’t end this review without mentioning the pet bunny rabbit! A great character! A must stay when in wonderful Varanasi.
