Location was perfect for us; just a two night stay, we were attending a family wedding in Dublin one hour away with the reception in Poulaphouca House 5 minutes away. House was well provisioned with everything you could possibly need for a stay; beds were comfy and, once we got the electric heating on, the rooms were cosy (just keep doors closed as this was march and there was no heat source for the hall and stairs). We weren't in the house long enough to enjoy the open fire.
