Beautiful location, just a short walk away from Slieve League, definitely worth the trip. House was very clean and host friendly. We would recommend having dinner at the nearby Rusty Mackarel pub, a traditional Irish pub

Lovely location, great amenities and super nice views. Also very lovely of the hosts to leave some paper towels/spices/oil in the cupboard for our cooking. Also spoiled for choice with Netflix, Amazon and Disney in front of a comfy couch.

The location was simply stunning. The place was very clean and had everything we could need and more. It was spacious enough for the short stay we had. I had not realised when booking that it was not on the beach itself, as I did believe it was walking distance to the beach. However it was just a short 7min drive to the absolutely stunning Fintra beach that we spent time on. I would highly recommend this cute place with so many beautiful walks around. The views are breath taking.

This was an absolutely amazing stay! The view from our room was simply breathtaking - like a perfect picture. The hosts were so friendly; they truly made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time staying at Kilcar Lodge! Really nice and cosy rooms with the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long time!! The host is so friendly and made us a huge vegetarian breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect, even though it’s located directly on the road it’s quiet at night!

We loved our stay at River View. Kristina and her family couldn't have been more welcoming. It was a last minute booking and everything was ready to go when we arrived. The house itself is brand new, with everything you need - modern, fitted out kitchen, lovely shower and beautiful views. We were only staying for one night but it would make a great base for a few days exploring the area. The house is an easy 10 minute walk from Kilcar village which has everything you need. Kristina was even kind enough to offer us a lift down to the town. This was great value for such warm hospitality in a great location. I would definitely recommend staying on a Tuesday evening to catch the trad session in John Joe's Bar, if you're looking for genuine Traditional Irish Music, this is it.
