The view from out room was OMG! We had the most amazing pancakes and our host - Sarah -went out of her way to serve us an early breakfast as we were traveling to the airport - really grateful Loved the little patio outside our room and though the weather was not great - we got to see a beautiful rainbow across the sea

We loved our stay at Johnny Joe’s. The cottage location is perfect as a base to explore the island - 10 mins’ drive from various beaches, Achill Sound village, Keel village and lots of restaurants and bars scattered across the island. It’s also conveniently located next door to Lynott’s, a fabulous little bar with live trad music on Friday and Monday nights. The cottage itself is comfy and has everything needed - including recently installed Wi-Fi. It’s really secure, easy to find, easy parking, and the owners Mairead and Paddy are super friendly, hospitable, helpful and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely stay here again!
