Read the reviews on Google and to be honest I was really worried. On the day of check-in, there was minor hiccups but everything was resolved. The room was exact to image as you can see from my own personal camera. The room was perfect for it's cost. The toilet was great and there's even football to watch! Totally recommend the stay. It's 2min walk from Song Shan station and it's right in the middle of the Rao He market. Song Shan railway is just minutes walk away and wufenpu is just a 5minutes walk from the hotel.

Hermit Dorm is located near Rao He Street Night Market (a 5-minute walk). You can also find a Taiwanese breakfast place downstairs on the corner. Transportation is easy; you can travel from Songshan Station to Nanjing Sanmin Station, and there are several bus routes nearby. We enjoy the tranquillity of the space, the view of Taipei 101 and the river at sunrise. The wifi is good and stable enough for 2-hour online video meetings. The facilities are compact and designed to maximize the room space. It is suitable for couples, as we had a great time celebrating our wedding anniversary in Taipei.

Everything is perfect for the price you paid. The staff is very friendly, patient, helpful and professional; the hotel provides contactless self check-in services, and the staff still provide spotless services if required. The location is great, close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores; short walks or getting a bus (under 1 USD pp) to MRT stations and some attractions, such as S.Y.S. Memorial Hall, and RaoHe Night market. The room is very clean and the hotel provides daily room cleaning services; so that you will be impressed when you get back. The hotel has a café and the food looks delicious (it's a shame we didn't try it due to the time we got back to the hotel); the hotel also provides airport drop off/pick up and day tour car chartering services with a reasonable price, which is similar to major travel apps, but with hotel specific.
