I loved the balcony, I spend two days sat on it drinking sangsom and smoking fags when the rain was to much to leave, had a great time, as the staff would walk by and say hello to me and make conversation as I was sat outside

We’d also like to mention Yannick, the resort manager, who was truly helpful and gave us great recommendations for special places to visit on the island. The facilities were amazing, the food was excellent, and the happy hours by the pool were so much fun and enjoyable!

I booked 20 nights at this hostel and spent all but one night there (when I visited Koh Tao). From the moment I arrived, I felt reassured about my choice. On my first day, I met two girls in my room who had been staying here and at Colorful Hut for seven weeks on and off—they loved it so much they didn’t want to leave. Their enthusiasm convinced me I’d picked the right place, especially since they could have chosen cheaper accommodations elsewhere on the island. Room: I opted for a women’s dorm with a private bathroom. The room accommodated eight people but felt spacious and even included access to a balcony. There was also a cozy “living room” area where guests could relax and chat. Each bed had curtains for privacy, which was a great touch. Cleanliness: The hostel was clean and well-maintained. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, tidying up regularly. Some of the cleaners even spoke a bit of English, which was a nice bonus. Staff and Atmosphere: Everyone at the hostel was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made communication and getting assistance very easy. The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. Facilities: The hostel also features a lovely café where you can relax. Wi-Fi is available on every floor with strong, reliable coverage. Breakfast: If breakfast isn’t included in your booking, I highly recommend purchasing it. The menu offers great options and is available from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a drink like coffee. Location: The hostel’s location is very convenient—just a short walk from the marina, with the beach right around the corner. There’s a food court across the street and a newly completed supermarket nearby. Renting a scooter is a good idea to explore further. Activities: The hostel organizes a range of activities such as yoga, meditation, group dinners, and excursions, so there’s always something fun to do. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful resort. Comfortable room and clean pool

The owner of the hotel is very helpful and the staff is very nice.

It’s a small property with just a few cabins. The path leading to it is beautiful, surrounded by lush vegetation! The pool is gorgeous and open 24/7, and there’s an open kitchen you can use if you want to cook. From the pool, you can see a sort of river—and we even spotted a monitor lizard! You can walk everywhere from the hotel—it’s within walking distance of Pantip Market. The manager is incredibly kind and full of great advice, and the rest of the team is super friendly too!

Stiks out with high quality and reasonable prices. Relatively quiet. Highly recommended
