Because of the location (up on the mountain) i was afraid of accessability but it was easy and also because of this the view was incredible. Out of the city it was very quite and so close to nature. The breakfast is so rich that i couldnt try everything in four days. I can only reccomend

Truly luxury hotel atmosphere. Inpeccable service Good location, 10min walk to city center (uphill on return walk). Ocean view room had all the aneminities one could expect. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff is really friendly and always at disposal for any question or suggestion we needed during our stay. The breakfast is simply amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to Funchal's main attractions. The terrace is beautiful with a 360 degree view over the see and the mountain on the other side. Parking is a bit tricky but there is a private park nearby where one can leave the car overnight for a very cheap price. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Funchal and Madeira in general.
