Such an amazing environment to stay, the hotel is perfect with the friendliest personell ever. Dinner has a lot of variety and is served in a traditional manner. Our stay here was a very nice experience. The location is also the best in the world.

This was the highlight of our trip so far. A real hidden gem. The private onsen was beautiful and the traditional dinner is not to be missed.

The entire experience was wonderful, totally unique, like nothing we've ever done before. The food was amazing, I am vegetarian and they made an extra special effort to make sure that I had just as good food as my meat and fish eating husband. The onsens were great, very relaxing.

The room with the private onsen is really cool, although the hotel has more than enough onsens.
The experience was amazing, taking us through the culture with in-depth explanations.

Mr Yumoto was an amazing host, extremely helpful and nice! He even took us to the entrance of the Snow Monkey park which, believe me, when the slope is icy the walk from the bus stop is really hard.
The baths are amazing as well and its location 4 min away from the shiga kogen bus and 15 min away from yudanaka train station make it an amazing spot!
