I wasn't expecting much, but Setoda and Yubune Hotel surpassed my expectation.
Design wise very sophisticated, comfortable and spacious for Japan standard. The common area on the 2nd floor was beautiful, and most importantly The Sentō! 10/10, definitely the main highlight of this hotel, you get to relax in hot water after a long day of exploring the island!

I was pleased with almost everything during my stay here, but the special dinner course exceeded all expectations. The seasonal dishes, utilizing Hiroshima's local produce, were a true work of art and would rival those of a Michelin-starred restaurant. SetodaAzumi hotel should be proud to have such a fine chef.

We loved this place SO MUCH. Arrived at the end of a long day of cycling, feeling almost broken. We got in and the view, the house, the treats and the care the owners had taken in readying the house made us feel on top of the world. We drank tea on the deck; watched TV; had a bath in the amazing bathtub; and didn't leave the house at all until we checked out. Which worked out, because there us not much around, and it's in a very quiet spot. The owner was very helpful and responsive too. Favourite place we have stayed in in Japan, by far.

I had the whole hostel to myself. It's very modern. Offers very big private showers and a bath. The community space is very nice too, consisting of couches and a kitchen to cook. I used this accommodation in order to be able to do the Shimanami Kaido in two days and I would stay here again.
