The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

Offering views of Tanigawa-dake Mountain, the peaceful Japanese rooms at Bettei Senjyuan include a private hot-spring bath and traditional futon beds.

I was immediately captivated by the overall environment, and the impeccable cleanliness left a lasting impression. The quality of the hot springs greatly enhanced this trip, making it even more enjoyable. From dinner to lunch, every detail was filled with delightful surprises. I especially loved the evening happy hour in the hallway. The only small wish I had was for an alternative selection of red wine. This is truly an unforgettable hotel.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. He was respectful and gave us space but had lots of very good suggestions which we enjoyed. He even helped us to set up the bbq pit and get it going so we could bbq, and there were lots of groceries and things that were provided. The facilities are generous: can take 12 guests comfortably with two shower rooms and 4 WCs The place is quiet with easy parking and within short drive (less than 30 minutes) of major outdoor adventure locations. Its a great base camp for outdoor activities. I would love to come again in a different season and see all that minakami has to offer!

They helped us manage our luggage via storage. They were always so helpful and kind. They offer private onsens which were outstanding. A perfect few days! The hotel is in a great location, though transportation is generally difficult, making taxis difficult to find. However, various operators offer shuttle services upon reservation. The rooms are clean and tidy, coffee and other beverages are available in the lobby, and the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. We booked a two-day trip with ZIGGIES ADVENTURE JP and had a wonderful time. The tour guide was also very professional. The hotel owner, a handsome Australian gentleman, was very warm and friendly, providing meticulous service and accommodating every request. He explained the surrounding area, provided safety precautions, and provided toys for the children. The hot spring he recommended was also excellent, a 10-minute walk away, with stunning views along the way. Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery left us with wonderful memories.
