The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the train station and very quiet.
We had a slightly bigger room, which came in handy as we were staying for a week and carrying a lot of luggage.
The staff are extremely friendly, but tend to be that delightful Japanese complicatedness.
We always chose the Japanese breakfast, which is in a separate restaurant on the second floor.
A lovely hotel, perfect location by the train station.
This was our third visit and I would stay here again and again.

Amazing hotel close to Umekoji station. After being in a smaller room in Tokyo for the previous five nights, The Royal Park Hotel was a welcome reprieve with lots of space, lovely bathroom and seperate toilet, as well as tattoo-friendly public bath. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful too, helped us send our luggage to Kansai airport.

The room was really spacious, and felt like a home away from home. The kitchenette was well equipped and very useful, and the beds were comfy! The location was great too and handy for everything we wanted. The 'free rental' equipment in the lobby was a lovely addition. It is was quiet too!

The location is exceptional, just few steps from the Kyoto station, you dont even suffer with your bags, everything is near, restaurants, malls, services, convenience stores, everything ....
The staff is also very nice and helpful, they give you recomendations if you request them and also help with your lugagge if you need to send it. The rooms are spacious and confortable
