My stay of multiple nights at the Jambuluwuk Malioboro Hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Malioboro Street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Yogyakarta. The hotel itself boasts great facilities with a variety of good food options, but the breakfast truly stands out – it's amazing, offering dozens of delicious and yummy choices to start the day right. However, the absolute best thing about this hotel is its incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, every single team member I encountered, from the dedicated cleaning crew who kept the rooms spotless to the attentive waiters and all other staff, was exceptionally nice, genuinely caring, and consistently customer-oriented. They were always willing to help out with a smile, and their warmth and professionalism made a wonderful and significant difference to my entire stay. It's rare to see such a consistently high level of service across the board. Highly, highly recommended for an unforgettable Yogyakarta experience!

Loved our stay at Surokarsan 9 house! Staff were super friendly and ready to help us with getting our way about. Room was spacious and bathroom was of great size. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel in Yogyakarta! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the people there are truly the heart of the place. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and it’s close to many lovely local-style cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Very well located, the hostel is close to all attractions in Yogyakarta. For the activities outside of the city, they contacted a motorbike rental shop which dropped the bike at the hostel. The dorm was comfortable, cool and calm. They provided me a towel for the stay. The staff was amazing, so friendly and open to discussion or any activity (going to a waterfall, a bar or playing music or games). The breakfast was also fresh and good.
