The location was excellent. An easy 10 minute walk from the airport shuttle bus. When you get the shuttle at the airport, it’s 8 euros and you pay the driver. When you leave the bus station in Split you must buy the ticket inside the station and it is 8.70 euros. The ride takes 40-45 minutes and the taxi charges 50 euros. When walking from the station, go straight, directly to the old town. Go up the incline about 150-200m. You will see to arches on the left. Take the second entrance. After 30m, take your first right, go 30m down the alley, and take your first left. Go 30m, and you will see the steps on your right. Go up the steps, through the door, and up the steps again to the top. There is no lift / elevator. The bed was great; the WiFi was great; the air conditioning worked perfectly.

Fabulous host Jelena, great location, nice apartment! We arrived early but were able store our luggage in apartment before actual check-in. When leaving, Jelena arranged us a hotel where we could store our luggage.

Situated in the centre of Old Town Split next to the Silver Gate of Diocletian's Palace in Split, the La Porta is a 5-minute walk to the bus and railway station.
