Staying at Sota Metekhi Hotel was an amazing experience in itself! It was my first visit to Georgia, and the hotel, located in the real heart of Tbilisi Old city, next to the Kura river, made a great impact onto my first impression from the country. Wonderful location of the hotel, comfortable suits, pleasing views, unbelievable friendly stuff, traditional Georgian hospitality, tasty breakfasts, opportunity to make tours directly from the hotel with an experienced driver - for that everything me and my son are feeling deep gratitude. Everything is perfect at Family Hotel Avlabar. It is conveniently located near the city centre and you can reach almost all tourist places on foot. There is free parking available for the car, too. Rooms are nice and very comfortable. You have your own bathroom, fridge, big bed, TV and have access to hairdryer, electric kettle, tea and coffee. The owner is a big-hearted person, who will recommend you some nice places and help with everything what is needed. Strongly recommend this hotel to everyone! Very good price/quality balance.

I stayed at Hotel Maria for a lot longer than originally planned. Emma and her husband and family are an absolute treasure. It was because of them that I kept coming back. I used this hotel as my base whilst I did some day trips around Georgia and went to the overwhelming amount of sites in Tbilisi. The location is 600m from Avlabari Station and a 15 minutes walk to the Old City and Sulphur baths - very easy to get around and Avlabari itself has everything that you would need. The garden courtyard was definitely my favourite place to be and relax- many a night was spent with a wine enjoying the fairy lights and quaint decorations - just made it even more special. I'm a solo traveller and met so many people here and of course the gorgeous hosts and their family who were even kind enough to introduce me to their homegrown wine :) . I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Georgia

The host couldn’t be more welcoming, and the location is absolutely perfect. The owner treats you more like a friend than a guest, making the stay feel truly special. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. During our visit to Georgia, we stayed at several properties, but none matched the charm, convenience, and thoughtfully provided amenities of hers.
