Wonderful, well-equipped studio! I loved my 3-night stay. Fabulous location and the studio itself was immaculate, cozy and charming with many modern touches including a very nice shower and comfy bed. The generous breakfast was also much appreciated. The host has literally thought of everything. There was even a North American electrical socket adapter plugged in and waiting for me! (I'm from Canada.) I've never seen that level of attention to detail before and I've stayed in many many studios/apartments across Europe! Would love to return!

First of all, the hostess Oreliane is very hospitable. She explained everything clearly, showed us where there is convenient parking (not a trivial task in Lyon). And she always smiled. Which is also not often in the service in France. And she also has excellent English. The apartment is a small studio in a medieval building. But the renovation is new modern. We moved in together with our son. And we were comfortable.

Room view was excellent, very clean and comfortable overall. What I didn’t expect was the level of service from all staff, but especially the concierge. Francois and Julien were the most excellent concierge I’ve ever come across. Will stay in Villa Maia again when I go back Lyon just for the concierge team.

The apartment was comfortable,cozy & lovely.The bathroom was adequate.The bed was luxurious.There are 2 TV's in the apartment.The views over Lyon were stunning.A pleasant walk from the apartment down Mnt du Chemin Neuf leads you straight into the old town.The owners are very helpful.The apartment is at the end of the 3rd floor of a students university residential block.I saw very few students & didnt hear any it was very peaceful.A code is required to gain access to the block another code is required to gain access to the apartment.

The house was beautifully decorated. It was spacious. Everything was well-equipped, especially in the kitchen. We felt right at home. Having a small balcony was also very nice. We were able to enjoy tea on it in the evenings.

Very nice, clean, and spacious apartment, with a large balcony. The neighbourhood is a 15-minute drive from the city center.

- The hotel seems to be an old monastery based on its location and design - The rooms are big - Restaurant on site with a beautiful garden view and friendly staff - The hotel is relatively small, even if it's at its 100% capacity it's not crowded. - Great drinks at the bar - Friendly staff - Gorgeous lobby with a modern look throughout the hotel - Biggest garden in a hotel around the area, it gives castle vibes. - 10 minute walk from the Basilica of Notre Dame - I went during winter and it was cloudy, but the view must be spectacular in other seasons
