The room was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was also good. Easily accessible by train and tram.

What an oasis in the middle of Munich! This hotel has also one of the nicest and friendliest staff I ever encountered. My wife and I go to Munich often on business. On one of our trips we came back to the hotel tired, just wanting a dinner and go to sleep. On that day the hotel had an event so a quick dinner wasn't possible, but the staff took care of us and called to a few nearby restaurants and immediately got us a reservation. On the day we did have dinner at the hotel, the food was amazing. Same goes for breakfast. My wife also a really light sleeper and we typically request a quiet room, but rarely get it. This is one of the rare occurrences where we actually got a quiet room and my wife was able to sleep through the night. We'll be returning to Rothof whenever we're in Munich!

This was one of the most relaxing and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at! The front is a traditional facet which immediately makes you feel you are travelling in time with style! All staff wore traditional bavarian outfit which was very nice touch! There are 2 buildings almost identical I believe up to 3 floors and the one buiding hosts their famous restaurant. The other hosts the rooms and there is a wonderful buffet with many options and a back terrace that is just a lovely place to have breakfast calm and in nature (borders the English garden)! It was priced very competitively for what it offered except from location, which is not convenient..far from the city center with no attractions nearby. But maybe this is also an advantage as it leaves one enjoy the calmness of the place, I dont know. Highly recommended if you need to relax!

Perfect location, easy walk to the station to get to the city center and to the airport. Supermarket and beer garden both also in easy walking distance. Hosts were welcoming and available if we needed anything. Great size for our family with two older children.
