The hotel is located in a quiet area at the outskirts of Wulingyuan. But it's still very close to the east gate of the forest park and just a short walk from restaurants and bustling streets. The rooms had a mix of traditional Chinese and modern style. Shower was very hot and comfortable. Beds and room cleaned everyday. AC worked really well and kept the rooms cool. Breakfast on the rooftop was Chinese with 2 types of noodle dishes to choose from,, sweet potato, eggs. They also got some toast and had just bought a toaster. But no butter, jam, cheese or anything to put on it. However, they clearly advertise that they serve chinese breakfast. So the toast etc. was just a bonus. Instant coffee, the powder kind. If you want proper coffee you'll have to order from Luckin coffee or cotti coffe using delivery app. All in all think it's a spectacular place to stay in Wulingyuan. Highly recommend

The service was top notch, they really went out of the way to look after us, organising tickets and picking us up from the airport and to the gates of the national park etc. The food was also excellent, with lots of organic produce including eggs from the owner’s own chooks, which was a pleasant surprise whilst travelling. All the staff were super friendly and our kids didn’t want to leave, they especially miss the owner’s dog. This place has exceeded our expectations and made our trip much easier with young kids in tow.

This was walking distance (2km) to the main entrance. Rooms were big enough and clean. Great support from Rebecca in english. Reasonable breakfast and easy to agree on all you will need.

This is a highly highly recommended Lodge located in a genuine quiet village. The beds are extremely comfortable; the home-made breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The lodge is very close to the west gate of the National Park. The mid-night corks' crows reminded you of the country-side life style. However, what makes the place so charming and impressive is the people. The Lodge owner Lucas and his partner Xiao Xie and their entire family, made our trip a wonderful experience. They provided very informative/detailed travel guidance as well as pick-up/drop-off services which made our daily excursions extremely convenient and pleasant. They welcomed us at the front yard at the time we come back which made us feel like returning home. They become part of the unforgettable memories of our cherished family gathering at Zhangjiajie!

We had a truly relaxing and wonderful holiday at this cozy and beautiful resort! It’s tucked away in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to the west gate of the national forest park.
The staff were incredibly hospitable and kind. They offered us helpful tourist information, taxi services and assisted with our luggage. The ladies in the kitchen prepared authentic and delicious local dishes—some of which were made with fresh vegetables they picked straight from their own garden!
One of the things we appreciated most was the resort’s location. It allows you to explore the park against the main tourist flow. Most visitors stay near the east, north, or south gates, and most tours begin from either the south or east. Staying near the west gate gave us a more peaceful and unique experience of Zhangjiajie.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a more tranquil way to enjoy the park!
