We had a wonderful stay at Guan Erjie boutique hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Should we visit Xi’an again, we will stay at Guan Erjie.

A beautiful, spacious, and bright hotel. Very clean, with white bed linen. Convenient location, close to the main attractions, which can be reached on foot or by bike. There are also great cafes nearby, including restaurant 77.com, just one building away from the hotel. I would also like to mention the owner of the hotel. He is an incredibly attentive and kind man. He recommended many places, and all of them were excellent. I highly recommend following his recommendations! He prepares delicious European breakfasts. Thanks to him, we were able to visit a theater! Xi'an has become our favorite city in China!

The house is very nice, with beautiful gardens and water features, very close to the subway, and it is convenient to take the subway to various scenic spots. The transportation is very convenient, and across the street is a large shopping center. There are many restaurants around, the most famous of which are Huang Jia Pao Mo and Zhu XiuYing Bang Bang Rou. The community environment is great, developed by Sunac China, which is the largest high-end community developer in China. The property management is particularly good, and 24-hour security is on duty. The community is very safe, and you can rest well at night. Come back later.

The rooms were well cleaned every day, the breakfast was fresh and varied, the location was close to tourist attractions and public transport, and the staff were friendly. They provide lots of information on what you could explore. When I was sick in bed one day, they were very helpful and constantly asked if there was anything they could do. When I flew back home on the last day, they helped me with online check-in. This hostel felt like coming home - in an overwhelming city like Beijing, that felt incredibly nice. 10 out of 10.

This property is right in the middle of the food district, we loved the smell of hot bread as we woke up in the morning! The staff were super nice and the room was very clean. The beds were really comfortable too. We would definitely come back and stay again.

The room is new, and well cleaned. The staffs were friendly and attentive to our needs. Breakfast spread was generous, with international and local cuisines on offer. Room rates were of great value. Location of hotel is a short walk to the nearest metro station, where one could easily ride a few stops to the main tourist attraction. The area near the hotel have two big malls, with many food options available.

This Hostel is simply outstanding. I have had 31 days travel in China on this trip. I have stayed at hundreds of different hotels and hostels during 12 years travelling and working away from the UK over the last 30 years. Miss Lu, who runs East Coast Coffee Inn has been the best host I have ever encountered. The hostel is spotlessly clean, situated just across a quiet road by the Xi an city wall. It is a four minute walk to the Tibettan Guangren Temple. From there it is just another short walk to the City gate. Immediately left and you can stroll along by the canal and river where trees and very well kept gardens give a lovely evening atmosphere with singles, couples and families enjoying themselves. Many evenings women meet up and dance for a couple of hours to music from their recorder. Maybe 50 maybe 30 maybe more. It varies. But they dance classic and modern, fast and slow. In the morning others gather to spend time in Tai Chi. It is a fascinating sight. The hostel is super modern, Ms Wu uses the Internet to give you as many locations, all on maps ready to go, as you need. The water at the hostel is piping hot all day. Busses run from by the Temple. Next door to her are a totally delicious BBQ restaurant with a big, low cost menu. On the other side is her Coffee shop. The situation, though central to the best places to go to, is very quiet so you sleep like a log. I came to China for the history, culture and food. Ms Wu put me in touch with Mariano who took me on a tour. He has 2 majors, Spanish and English. His knowledge of Chinese culture and History is amazing. Really deep and good information flowed non stop for the afternoon. He is well worth trying to hire if he is available and his area knowledge saves you so much wasted time and money. Honestly his tour, tailored to you is very cheap but seriously Interesting. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers, 4 of each, all new on each floor. Soap powder supplied and all free.
