Excellent location next to an area with restaurants and street food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even they didn’t speak English. They used a translator and communication was ok. The room was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable and the accommodation included a nice breakfast

Everything, really. The location, the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff. EVERYTHING! We didn't originally plan to stay here but our first booking was cancelled by the operator at 3am when we landed in China. Talk about bad luck. But Cachet Boutique came to our rescue. The convenient location was our base for exploring the old streets filled with shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes, historical buildings, as well as new shopping malls across the main road. The friendly front counter lady gave suggestions on places to eat. We tried them and they were all great. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s ceiling heater to keep the shower area warm during winter.

Wonderful stay – amazing staff! We had a great experience at Atour Light Dongfeng Hotel in Kunming. Special thanks to the two staff at check-in – they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We took 3 Jens King rooms for the 4 of us, and everyone was very happy with the hotel. Rooms are very well appointed, clean and well-designed. Everything we needed are there. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The black-out blinds were perfect for a complete dark room at night, and the sound-proofing very good. We really like the auto hot/cold water dispenser. Every hotel room should have one! My family love the gym. This gym has to be the best equipped hotel gym that we have ever come across. It also has a lovely heated indoor pool. Pity none of us came with our swim wear as we certainly didn't expect to swim in winter. Location also very handy. 5 mins walk to the new Spring 66 Mall, which is a very nice mall. If we are ever back in Kunming, this will be the hotel we stay again and again. No brainer.

It was my 2nd stay during this trip because i had to head back to Kunming. We liked the hotel and location so we decided to choose it again. The staff was exceptionally helpful in retrieving my taobao packages and delivering them to my room. Truly appreciated that as i was still making my way back from Guizhou. They are very responsive if you need to commincate with them. Room was big and spacious. Super comfortable and clean! Located right next to wanda mall, which had loads of food offerings. The hotel breakfast and dinner options were delightful too.
