1. It is the only place during my monthly trip in China where people (Jerry and Jenifer) where spoke perfect English which helped me couple of times a lot and made my stay and travel to Guilin very easy and comfortable.
2. Location. Just 10 minutes walking from Guilin south railway station entrance. I had a train from there that's why I took this hostel. In the process it happened also that airport shuttle bus has a stop in front of Hongkong hotel which is opposite side (diagonal) from same Guilin south railway station. So I managed to take shuttle bus from the airport for 20 yuan and walk another 20 minutes straight to the hostel. No need to take a taxi or another bus. Re city center (Moon and sun pagodas and Elephant hill) it is not so close, but still walkable (approx 30 min walk or 2 stops by bus ). Also it suddenly happened (Jenifer did not knew) that some buses from Yangshuo bus station goes not to Guilin south bus station but have a final stop on the big crossroad where Guiling south railway station is located. My bus dropped me at the same Hongkong hotel as the airport shuttle bus. I could not say how to find it as it has no number, I just asked the driver and he showed me on the map this drop point that was perfect for me!
3. Guys organize for their tourists transfer to Longji rice terrasses by direct bus from the same Hongkong hotel (100 yuan round trip) which is 20 min walk from hostel and very convenient. And provide river boat trip to Yangshuo for 280 yuan from the hotel which is 5 min walk from hostel. Which is also competitive. Which solves most of wishes for tourists in Guilin. Good job!
4. Hostel is of very good condition for hostel. I would rank it more as 3 star hotel. The only discomfort for me was a little hard mattress which is let's say usual in China.
5. Good European style breakfast with good coffee is provided for additional cost of 28 yuan which is very nice.

Qin and Melody are wonderful persons and extremely helpful, especially that we don't speak Chinese, taking the time to check with the air company when it appeared that there was some issue with the tickets until it was fixed, providing a very professional driver who took care of every details until checked in.
The huge 2 rooms apartment with terrace over the lake is simply perfect!

Michelle and team were amazing hosts and helped us visiting the wonderful highlights of Guilin. The hotel was as expected, good location and very comfy with delicious food. Would stay here anytime when visiting the surroundings of Guilin.

Amazing hotel with beautiful views over the hills surrounding Guilin in a lovely traditional and quiet area. The Western breakfast was great and the hotel even prepared a breakfast bag for us for our last morning as we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight. The hotel owners are very helpful and organised a driver and guide for us to take us to the places we wanted to see. The guide was great, gave us great advice regarding our itinerary and was really knowledgeable as well. There’s a nice restaurant just around the corner where we always went to in the evening for dinner. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
