Perched on a mountain top with panoramic views, Delfim Douro offers luxury accommodation with private balconies overlooking the Douro River. It features a rooftop terrace, an outdoor pool, a restaurant and massage facilities. Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

With 55 rooms and 6 suites, all with plenty of natural light and panoramic views. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WIFI. Bathrooms include a free-standing tub as well as free toiletries. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

The air-conditioned rooms at Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. have modern amenities, including a minibar and satellite TV. Most rooms have panoramic views of the Douro River. Some rooms have a private balcony. Was able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel is in the most splendid position on the river with fantastic views. Service was excellent, friendly professional staff, very helpful. Restaurant was lovely.

The Casa’s rooms all feature stylish, modern furnishing and mood lighting. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a TV, as well as a private en suite bathroom. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. Thank you to the whole family for making our stay a unique and wonderful one. David could not do enough for us. We loved Maria, such a lovely lady. Miguel, the owner, host and chef is a warm, generous man. The girls were also lovely, ensuring our enjoyment, comfort and safety (my husband is disabled and I have some current injuries that affect my mobility). Evenings with a delicious meal and good wines/ports from the estate were unique. There a are so few places that offer the opportunity to sit at a large family table and talk with your fellow travellers from all over the world while enjoying home cooked goodness. The views of the Douro from high on the mountain top were stunning. Thank you everyone for a most wonderful stay. This family understands hospitality in a big way and I highly recommend a visit if in the alto Douro.

Boasting mountain views, Quinta Do Bosque offers accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a bar, around 15 km from Douro Museum. The property has pool and garden views, and is 29 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This property was above all expectations. The staff is kind and friendly, it’s small ( I think 6-8 rooms) so not overcrowded. They prepare meals on site. It was absolutely charming and the « slow life » needed for this holiday! Highly recommend! 5 *****

The property features garden and city views, and is 15 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. The bed and breakfast also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Great location (the views!) and friendly, welcoming staff! It was great to use the pool and outdoor space on a sunny day :)

Cesar, Andre and Hannah are lovely people and made our stay unbelievably wonderful. The breakfast was perfect with the best view and traditional fresh food. We made a wine tasting and a tour through the winery, it was awesome. You can park in front of the Quinta.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything was perfect and we really liked our stay at Casa do Romezal. The location was gorgeous and the staff were really helpful. We can really recommend a stay here.

Our guests are offered a special wine tasting – available every day at 18:00 (from 23rd March to 10th November) or 16:00 (from 11 th November to 22nd March). Great place to stay in Duoro Valley, right in the middle of everything. Very friendly, helpful staff that went over & above to make us comfortable. Smaller family-owned winery that is in the process of making great improvements for guests. Would definately stay here again if in the area.
