Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. Wi-Fi is free. The location is the best thing. Being inside the train station I didn’t have problems and it was very convenient. The restaurant is nice as the breakfast and the place is very tranquil and quiet.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Kamma Guest House offers accommodation in Ollantaytambo, 42 km from Cusco.

Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower and some have a balcony with a pleasant view. Larger rooms such as the family room, are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Lovely people working here, even though Liz was not at the guest house at the time, she made sure that everything we wanted and needed was taken care of. Breakfast was wonderful, the room was nice and the location was great too. At our request, Liz also arranged a private driver for us to/from Cusco (at a fair price). Overall a great experience!

Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace and to a bar. Lizzy Wasi is a beautiful little hotel in Urubamba - the gardens are so beautiful and the alpacas are a real treat to hang around with. The property is a short walk into the town (10 mins). We wish that we'd spent more time there and also visited Luna's Horses next door!

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley offers accommodation in the Living Inka City of Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and the gateway to the wonder of Machu Picchu.

The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, the main square is a 10-minute walk, and the train station to Machu Picchu is only 15 minutes away on foot. Our host Alex was Generous with time and information. The garden is an absolute delight. I saw humming birds from my breakfast table , the rooms comfy.

A blend of traditional architecture and contemporary interiors, this boutique hotel is framed by charming flowered gardens and an Andes Mountain backdrop. It is a 90-minute drive from downtown Cuzco. We upgraded to the room with a comfortable King sized bed. The room and bathroom were spacious with plenty of storage, breakfast was nice, owners were wonderful and helpful, shower with hot water, quiet neighborhood 5 min walk to center. We loved staying here and actually came back after our trip to Macchu Picchu. Highly recommend. Thank you! Bonus--playful dogs (they only come if you call them).

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum.

Aranwa offers 3 different dining options that include Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, native organic products and a chef designed menu. The cellar carries an exclusive collection of wines. Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.

Featuring free WiFi access and a complimentary breakfast, Intitambo Hotel offers accommodations in Ollantaytambo. Surroundings feature narrow streets, a canalized stream, and small houses styled with Incan architecture and built upon stone baseboards. As a travel agent, I can be picky with my expectations but this property is highly recommended. The view from the patio is amazing and you can spend your time on it. The rooms, bathrooms are very clean. The bed is super comfortable. You can tell they put an effort. Most of all this looks like a family managed place and that reflects in the very warm welcome we received.

Set in Ollantaytambo, 19 km from Bus Station, Wayras Hostal offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This 2-star inn offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. I was going to take the train 6 in the morning and since I had a luggage, the location of Wayras couldn’t have been better than this. Only two minutes walk to the train station. Bed was so comfy. Room was nice, cozy and clean. Room was at the back overlooking the river with vibrant water sound. Host gave a nice pack for breakfast to go
