It was lovely to be outside of Ouarzazate and in a small dusty village where a short stroll allows you the chance to see games of pick up soccer and children playing in the street. The kindest staff and an exceptional owner, whose advice and suggestions of off the beaten track places to visit proved invaluable. Exceptional breakfasts and dinners.

The lovely interior makes the whole Riad very cosy and relaxing. - The Views: The riad is situated on a hill overlooking the village. It affords panoramic views of the surrounding hills and mountains from just about any window in the building. Amazing.

Guest rooms at the Sawadi are colourful and feature a traditional Moroccan décor. Each has an en suite bathroom with a shower, separate toilet and mosaic tiling. Rooms offer a view of the Atlas Mountains or the riad’s gardens. Both the ecolodge and the staff were fantastic. It's difficult to find something better. Nicolas, with his team, Aziza, Said, and all the others, are great and took really good care of us. It was like being part of a family. The lodge is beautiful, from the design of the apartments, the park, and the swimming pool. I would recommend it to anyone, and I hope to go back again.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The hotel and the garden are beautiful, such a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, they helped arrange a taxi back to Ouzarzate. The dinner in the garden by candlelight was also spectacular, the food was delicious, the best I’ve had so far in Morocco. I would not hesitate to stay again.
