You will find a kettle in the room. All rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. It is the perfect location in the old town of Galle. I was surprised by the spacious room, its comfort, and all the amenities. the staff is very hospitable as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The building itself is fascinating, and you can feel it by the ambience and wooden stairs and floors, very well renovated and looks quite esthetic. If stay in Galle again I'd stop over at the Fort Printers - and google the history of the building and the Fort :)

Price was also cheap - around 25euros a night.

Rooms feature classic Sri Lankan-style furnishings. It offers a writing table, clean linen sheets and windows offering direct sunlight. Bathrooms are en suite. Everything. Best accommodation we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was HOT, which is rare for Sri Lanka. Hosts were amazing - so friendly, welcoming and made sure me and my partner were happy at all times. The food at the guesthouse is 10/10, and the cheapest we found in the fort. They also have an amazing little puppy who just completed our stay!! Would 100% recommend!!

This elegant property is 2.8 km from Galle Light house, 2.9 km from the historical Galle Fort and 3.1 km from Dutch Church Galle. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

I recently stayed at this charming homestay located within the historic Galle Fort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the fort, with easy access to its cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and delicious restaurants. However, the real highlight of this place is its stunning rooftop. The rooftop offers one of the breathtaking sunset views I’ve ever seen, specially you can enjoy lot of people hanging around on holidays with their family & friends , watch locals playing cricket , see people sitting enjoying the sun set on the wall & some even flying kites on the ramparts along with the sunset which is RARE. Every evening, I found myself eagerly heading up to watch the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples as the sun dipped below the horizon. The panoramic view of the fort, the ocean, and the surrounding area made it feel like a private paradise. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a good book after a day of exploring. My room was beautiful & perfect with the Balcony & it had everything you want to make your stay comfortable. Comfy bed & water pressure was great. It had 2 large French windows which gives a bright light to the room. The homestay itself is cozy and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips about the area. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of fantastic cafes and eateries within walking distance, so it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to stay in Galle Fort, this homestay is an excellent choice. The rooftop alone is worth the stay, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves a good sunset view. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. A beautiful hotel in an old building. Interesting details. Amazing staff and location. There were always about 5 people in the hotel, but it was always quiet and comfortable. I definitely recommend

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. The room was beautiful, beautiful design and very complete. We enjoyed being in the room, which did not happen that often in Sri Lanka. A 10! Breakfast not included which is smart, like this you can eat whatever you feel like. We had a smoothiebowl and avocado toast, which we really enjoyed.
