The staff were extremely welcoming and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights is the convenient shuttle bus that runs every hour, taking you down from the mountain and back up again – such a great service and a big plus for this place. The hotel itself is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment. The only small thing – and it’s not really a minus – is that it would be amazing if the hotel had a swimming pool. With such stunning views, relaxing in a pool would be the ultimate experience. Overall, the hotel is amazing, everything was perfect, and we would love to come back again!

Elisa and Marco were incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nicely decorated, and just perfect for us. The lovely pool was a well needed addition in July. The villa is further away from the harbour and centre, but it wasn't an issue for us. If anything, it was good to be further from the very touristy areas and enjoy food in the same restaurants locals eat at.

Our stay there really exceeded our expectations. Riccardo is an exceptional host. He even went to pick us up at the train station when we hadn't asked for it. He knows very well the Ligurian coast and will give you the best tips according to what you want to do during your trip. He cares a lot about his guests and the place is incredibly well-kept. He's clearly a very detail-oriented person who wants to deliver the best experience to his guests. The place is very well located. Two steps away from the main street in La Spezia, but without being in the middle of the noise and the crowds. The room is very comfortable and clean. It is also very well-equipped, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The value for the money is super high. Do not hesitate to book at Riccardo's Golfo della Luna.
