Set within the town walls of medieval Cortona, this impressive 18th-century residence is now a luxury hotel, which offers you spectacular views of the mountains, hills, and nearby Lake Trasimeno. Our room had the most fantastic view south of Cortona. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They parked our car for us free of charge and made drinks for us during happy hour at the bar. Breakfasts were great too. Nice seating area outside at the front too.

Borgo I Tre Baroni is surrounded by the Casentino Forest National Park, between Florence and Arezzo, 9 km from the town of Poppi. The panoramic swimming pool overlooks the Camaldoli wood and the Poppi Castle.

Each room is uniquely decorated with hand painted designs, and offers panoramic views of the valley or the wood. Some rooms boast a private spa. We had an absolutely amazing stay at I Tre Baroni. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, particularly Gessica and Lorenzo, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Such lovely, friendly people. The room was comfortable with stunning views. The location, in the mountains, was very picturesque. We'd recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend time off the beaten track in a beautiful location.

Relax and enjoy stunning views of the Tuscan countryside from Terre dei Cavalieri. Go for a stroll around the gardens or cycle past sunflower fields to reach nearby Cortona. Otherwise sit back and soak up the sun in the outdoor pool. Great location and great place to stay if you want a quite place to enjoy Tuscany. The restaurant in the resort is very good.
