The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. I would also like to spotlight chef Mr.

Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. Fantastic location, beautiful views.

Really nice spa and swimming pool facilities. All the staff were really professional and polite. Delicious food at the restaurant. I’m so happy I treated myself to this amazing experience

I have to say I am glad I chose The Park from my other stay options. Right from the time we checked-in reception team of Sujal, Nayantara, Arushi took great care in ensuring that our stay @The park was delightful. The early check-in provided was a boon to rest our tired bodies after a long flight in. Raj on concierge duties ensured that our luggage were well taken care. Jagath manning the fitness center helped us get the morning workouts done without any issues. Rajesh & Anjali took great delight in making sure that our breakfast’s were wholesome and on time. Featuring a rooftop swimming pool, a steam room and a restaurant, Iris - The Business Hotel is located along Brigade Road, 6 km from Bangalore Railway Station. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was very good, served on a nice rooftop.
