The staff are exceptionally nice , the service is amazing. Rooms are clean, views are spectacular from the rooms. We wrote a comment after booking asking for a high floor room and our request was taken into consideration. The beach is really nice to swim in with plenty of space through a combination of beds and bean bags . Breakfast is also amazing with a combination of ordering from a breakfast menu along with an open buffet. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay and will definitely come back again!

Enjoying a seafront position and offering a restaurant boasting sea views, Design Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Opatija, steps away from Angiolina Park. Everything was excellent from the staff calling a few weeks beforehand to see if there was a special occasion to the Prosecco on arrival as we had gotten married that day.

The staff were warm and welcoming and very friendly and generous. The apartment was really well appointed and comfortable and reflected the owners’ love and commitment to the having people enjoy their stay

A feeling of wellness is evident in the property, directly on the famous Lungo Mare, a short distance from the old village of Lovran. A lovely breakfast each morning on the terrace sets the pattern of the day. The staff were are very friendly and Vjecko himself was present each day. It is only a few metres to swim in the crystal clear water of the Kvarner gulf, which we did several times each day, even in the rain.
