Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. We were made to feel very welcome, for travellers this was so great. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you very much.

The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed) Friendly staff, excellent location, spa, cleanliness... I would definitely stay at the same hotel the next time.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The bunk double beds in the dorm were particularly surprising. A key is provided for the lockers, so you don't need to bring your own. Note that the rosettes in Switzerland are of a slightly different type. The free public transport card provided to guests is a real lifesaver. Breakfast can be ordered for an additional fee (CHF 8). Common spaces are cozy, clean, well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. In the context of Swiss prices, the price of accommodation is not very high (city tax - CHF 4 per night - paid at the reception).

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Great experience. Far better than we had in Mulhouse on our stop to Colmar. Basel and this hotel in contrast were wonderfully organized and welcoming. Only problem that i had was the noise of the trams right under our window but not enough to hinder our sleep after a tiring day of exploring the city.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Amazing stay! Hotel staff was very friendly, and extremely helpful. Hotel location is at heart of old town and close to the river. Breakfast is excellent value for money. Thanks for making this a happy stay!
