The hotel is excellent, in the very center of the city. The rooms are clean, with new furniture. Parking is easily available. Breakfast is varied and of high quality. I would especially like to praise the reception staff. We would like to thank the friendly receptionist who helped us with information about road conditions.

Hotel Palais26 is situated in the centre of Villach’s pedestrian area, only a few minutes’ walk from the Congress Centre. Built around 1500, this traditional hotel is adorned by a splendid Renaissance façade.

The quiet non-smoking rooms are all individually designed and offer views of the garden or the town square. I got an upgraded room which was very spacious, bed was super comfortable, bathroom was modern and the decorations on the wall made the room even more stylish. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating!
