The room configuration that was promised on Booking.com wasn’t available but the hotel staff promptly remedied it with another solution. Beautifully handled. Also the staff recommended a wonderful Pub for dinner that involved a stunning walk through the village and across the lock. Excellent local suggestion that made our stay.

A lovely, idyllic and tranquil place, a real hidden gem! We usually stay in hotels, but this B&B could be ranked between the 5 stars! Sitting on our balcony overlooking the gardens gave us the feeling of being home away from home. Our hostess made us feel so welcome, a lovely lady! My wife forgot her favourite raincoat and the lady shipped it over for us to Holland. Service with a smile from an unforgettable place!

Very comfortable big room and bed, with a refrigerator and kettle. At reception, there was water and fruit for free . Bus from Oxford main train station, S3 or S2 with a stop a few meters from hotel. Also from the University- city center, bus 🚌 6 have a stop in front of the hotel. Bus S3 goes to Blenheim Palace , and it is easy to visit from the hotel .

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff, ready to answer any question. We were travelling with 2 kids and they made them feel very welcome, too. Good connection to the city center by bus. Summertown center with local wine bar and restaurants are also in walking distance.
