large room + sofa bed for my daughter which was not expected. good air conditioning. exceptional breakfast with anything we wanted, great variety of cheese/ham/bread, cooked food incl scarmble eggs and bacon, nice cakes, yogurt and fresh fruit salad. great coffee too. free bottle of water in the room was appreciated too. nice bar and reception area (self check in worked well too). nearby burger place was very handy.

Super-friendly receptionist (Frau Niemeyer or Niemann? - sorry, I am not completely sure now... apologies), who helped us choose between parking options, and even reserved for us a dinner table at a restaurant in the old town. Free coffee in the afternoon/evening, close to the reception. Quiet rooms. Location at the foot of the Fortress Marienberg, and close to the old town on the other side of the river (connected by a beautiful historical pedestrian bridge).

A family-run hotel located in the Bavarian village of Eibelstadt, guests here enjoy free Wi-Fi and free calls to European landlines.

We were in room 'Zen', one of the theme rooms. It meant that the bed was low, Japanese style. Very nicely designed. Good bathroom, a large ceiling fan, and automatic shutters. Good breakfast. An ideal place for a stop-over, just a short distance from two highways.

Situated beside the medieval tower in the romantic Old Town of Volkach, this hotel offers comfortable rooms with free internet. It lies close to the River Main in Franconia’s wine-growing region.

Breakfast was a dream, very well presented with a wide selection. Good coffee and tea. Seating is also outside in an inner courtyard. The bedrooms thoughtfully appointed, mattress very comfortable. Our ebikes were easily and securely stored.

I loved the location in Frickenhausen, a beautiful, German medieval walled town, in the heart of a vibrant wine area. The hotel itself was stunning, a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful features, wonderful wine, and food. The room was really cosy, with a very comfortable bed and its own balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the decorations were very interesting!
