From start to finish our stay was fantastic. We had free parking and stress free check in. The room is basic but very clean and well maintained. Air con worked perfect which we needed as it was such a warm weekend. On the Friday night there was a live band who were absolutely amazing. Check out was a breeze.

The breakfast was wonderful / perfect. Everything I wanted. The welcome on arrival was great and the guy greeting me extremely helpful. The room was quiet, which is very important to me. The lighting in the room was great. It was warm when I arrived but not overheated. I was able to open the window in the night. The storage space was great and there was a safe for valuables. The bathroom was perfect with two hairdryers. I had a writing table, which I really appreciated. There was a great mirror in the room and a shoehorn. The hotel was walking distance from the train station (15-20 minutes). It's near the town centre. The restaurant prices and dishes looked good, although I didn't eat there this time. All in all, it was a perfect stay for me. I shall definitely be returning. It will be my first choice.
