The property and our room itself were stunning, the grounds so beautiful and the pool was perfect but the views…!! Unreal! Such an amazing place! Our hosts Fabienne and Rachel were so welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel at home and the dogs were the icing on the cake! If you’re a dog person I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great place to stay, i really enjoyed my time there and extended the stay. This accommodation is actually in a manor house in which the owners do regular movie screenings for the local neighborhood including drinks, dinner, and occasionally a rugby game. Lovely people, the cafe next attached is really good, too. Can only recommend, also for workationing!

It is a perfect place with the most kindest and hospitable people. The wines are phenomenal, with great tastes, beautiful wine-tasting rooms and very knowledgeable and kind wine experts. Amazing food and in general a beautiful place to walk around and be a part of the estate for a few days! Best stay!

Winery location was spectacular. The grounds peaceful, beautiful and plenty of flowers and paths to enjoy. The lake and surroundings divine. Our suite quite nice and well equipped. Staff extremely helpful, attentive and customer service oriented. The food at the restaurant beautifully presented and of excellent quality. The wine tasting informational and fun with a passionate sommelier. We also enjoyed the art exposed around the property supporting local artists.

Lovely buffet breakfast with some staples always available and daily there were additional items. We’ll presented and stocked. Lovely setting with the options of eating outside in the courtyard or overlooking the pool. Staff were always helpful and available. Our room had a stunning view. Nelly the reservation as manager went out of her way to accommodate our every request. We loved sitting in the beautiful foyer. We had many guests coming to visit and it was an ideal place to sit and relax.

This is a great hotel with little houses. You get an apartment with two rooms, kitchenette. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the omelette. The Wingerd restaurant is great for a nice dinner with a variety of wines. The hotel is surrounded by a breathtaking area of mountains and vineyards. If you want to stay in the region of Stellenbosch, choose this hotel.

    Near all major roads and towns, yet out of town in a quiet rural setting with beautiful views and a peacful environment. Several restaurants and wine in the immediate vicinity or within 15 minutes drive. Most wine farms have great restaurants. Avoid Stellenbosch during peak traffic times.

    Raithby was one of the few properties in the area that gave us the opportunity to book for only one night. The living area was quaint but very comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. There were facilities in both rooms for tea and coffee. The shower was very spacious.
