We had a fabulous time in Gondwana Game reserve. Staff were friendly & welcoming, our game driver Toby was very knowledgeable, facilities & food were great too. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

The views are amazing from the rooms. The room was sea facing and we were lucky to see a beautiful sun rise in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay at Mossel Bay! We got a baby cot in the room which is of decent size and very comfy.

    Main purpose of our visit was game watching. And this turned out to be excellent. Being very lucky to spot all kinds of animals we had the privilage to be accompanied by an outstanding guide - „King David“. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and very friendly. Thanks a lot, David! Suggestion for improvement: We missed dustbins and better cleaning service in our room…

    Our two night stay was better than we expected.

    Our two night stay was better than we expected. The games drives were excellent because we had to find the animals (they were not in pre-arranged locations). Our guide (Ruan) was brilliant and did whatever was needed to ensure we saw everything. Accommodation was comfortable. Would recommend stay at the lodge. Staying in one of the villas means a 15-20 drive to the lodge for the game drives (2 each day) and breakfast, lunch and dinner.
