It was our first visit to Uruguay and the staff on reception were so kind and helpful. They patiently and with smiles assisted in any request we had. Hotel has an excellent location near the river in the vicinity of the shopping center and some good restaurants. The room was spacious with a view on the river. Breakfast was good, as well.

Beautiful old restored house with a lovely bedroom, overlooking Plaza Zabala, close to the Buenos Aires ferry terminal. A very comfortable bed & a themed room with tasteful antique football memorabilia - ours was based on an Uruguayan footballer who played in the first ever World Cup winning team in 1930 - priceless. Breakfast was excellent, including the best muesli I have ever had in my life! The staff were magnificent - kind, helpful, intelligent, good-humoured & genuinely warm people who really made you feel comfortable & welcome. There was a beautiful library to relax in & a magnificent view of the sun setting in the Rio Plata.

It is wonderful because attentive, conscientious, responsive employees work here, and the hotel management resolves any issues in favor of the guests. The rooms in this hotel are clean, comfortable, good beds, pillows, and most importantly it is quiet. A cot is provided for small children. The rooms have everything you need to prepare the dishes you are used to and that you love. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and soap. We stayed here with our family, 2 adults 4 children. Everyone was happy and we will definitely come back here again. I love when business works for people!
