If you need a place to stay in the area, choose Santee which...

If you need a place to stay in the area, choose Santee which is only 10 minutes away off of I-95. It's well lit with several options for dining. The motels in the area had a very nice road presence. The only reason we selected Summerton was because it was nearest to Sparkleberry Swamp. I wish we had booked in Santee and spent the extra 10 minutes to get to the swamp.
