    My son and I were there attending the Anime Fiesta held at...

    My son and I were there attending the Anime Fiesta held at the McAllen Convention Center. The hotel was a short drive there and we could not have asked for a better hotel to stay at. Casa De Palmas is beautiful and the employees are awesome While at the hotel I had the Street Tacos and a Rib eye Steak. Both were delicious.

    Didn't really see McAllen other to go where I had to pick up...

    Didn't really see McAllen other to go where I had to pick up some items, which was the purpose of the trip. From the freeway to the motel, sleep; then to pick up my items, return to motel and pick up my wife and leave the city to return home.

    I hate this city a bunch of rude people who do not know how how to say excuse me and it’s overly congested with speeding people. I thought Houston was bad McAllen is horrible and I will never come back.

    During our walks, got to see the beautiful palm trees and the effort of making McAllen more beautiful! (Sweeper machines down Jackson Road and 10th Street) Lot of choices of “tasty & easy on my pocket restaurants” walking distance. 🍔🌭🌮🌯🥙🥗🍕🍗🍱🥘🍤🍣🍝🍜🍛🍲🧆🍿🥞🧇🥟🧁🍦🍨🍧

    OYO when booked said it was pet friendly - okay for service...

    OYO when booked said it was pet friendly - okay for service dog /but not the other dog -charged $15.00 x 4=$60.00 .nights we were booked for. There was no breakfast with stay. the tub was very slippery spouse had to put towel down bottom of tub / not to be slippery. the mattress was to hard on back --says wife. pillows & blankets helped.

    Our visit was fine.

    Our visit was fine. We were unable to have a tournament due to weather. Ended up playing in near by towns. Disappointed that the city did not allow us to play our tournament and changed the rules of the game. The changed rules really ended up having a huge impact on the outcomes of the games.

    The staff was very friendly, the breakfast bar was great, simple but everything was delicious. I appreciated that even on Thanksgiving, the breakfast bar was available. The bathroom was nice, the water pressure was great, and the tub was clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel's location is very convenient.
