It is more like a village than a town.
It is more like a village than a town. I stayed there while visiting family in the area. The town is worth a short visit or a good place to stay if you are exploring the area and want a base to stay. There are some nice resturants in town and a nice small river side park. There really is nothing to do in the town itself. It is an old steel factory converted into a hotel with the perfect mix of maintaining the original character while being a newly renovated 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and we loved our tour of the reception hall along with a history lesson of the original purpose. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, the bed very comfortable and breakfast included with a waterfront view was an extra bonus.
