I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at Dan Stam Hotel in Arusha. Tucked away in a peaceful, green setting just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, this boutique hotel is perfect for anyone looking for comfort, quiet, and a personal touch. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see how I was doing, the service felt genuine and caring. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Everything was spotless, and little details like fresh flowers or a cozy sitting area added to the charm. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept, with lush gardens that create a serene atmosphere — perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel or safari. It’s quiet, safe, and has a lovely local feel to it. The restaurant serves delicious meals, with both local and international options. Breakfast was especially good — fresh fruit, eggs made to order, great coffee — and dinner was equally satisfying. What makes Dan Stam stand out is the balance of comfort, value, and authentic Tanzanian warmth. It’s ideal whether you’re in Arusha for safari, business, or just passing through. The staff was indeed the best part of the stay. They are all ready to help and also willing to go the extra mile to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean, very big and cozy. Food was great too, many options, great prices and the atmosphere is very good.

We had an amazing stay here! The beds are so comfortable and the pool is beautiful with the occasional visit from zebras and giraffes!! The fruit and fruit juices at breakfast are so yummy and fresh. The staff are all wonderful and so friendly we will miss this place!

I was pleasantly surprised about everything at the hotel. The entire staff (from reception to kitchen to cleaning) were ALL so very nice and courteous and helpful. The pool area was great. The hotel was nice (looks like it was recently built). My room was nice (balcony, large bathroom), very clean, great wifi, and plenty of hot water. Also, It was a quick ride to the bus station (which I took from Arusha to Nairobi, on Impala Shulttle).

The staff is good and friendly, and also has a nice view, can see Mt. Meru.. really appreciated when the staff tried to help us by finding someone to send us to Arusha bus station early in the morning coz no bolt driver available (we nvr expected this will happen), thanks a lot!
