First of all i have to say that i didn’t look at the map while booking so i missed the fact that this guesthouse is not near any stores or restaurants. If I knew that maybe I wouldn’t book it and this would be a huge mistake! We loved this place sooooo much! We were lucky to be there all alone (me and my husband) without other guests and sometimes it really felt like home. Nice pool, nice beach, if you want anything to eat the amazing host Margaret has a menu of lunches and dinners and she is a great cook. This place is really for those who need some quiet private time. If you want to go for shopping and some other entertainment you can always ask for taxi to Nungwi. We did it once and then regretted cause this town was too busy and noisy we were happy to come back to Matumaini. Near the guesthouse there are couple of small zoos and also you can try several boat trips right from the guesthouse. Every day we had the nicest chats with Margaret and really enjoyed her company. All of the villa staff were very sweet. It broke my heart a little when we had to leave. Highly recommended, wonderful experience! Margaret we are happy to know you, miss you!

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed after a busy few weeks. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. I especially enjoyed the breakfast – fresh, tasty, and with a good variety. I wish I could have stayed longer. Definitely a place I’d recommend and hope to return to in the future!

The breakfast and the food in general were delicious as was freshly made a la cart for each customer.The personnel were very polite and they knew well the English language.But what impressed me most was the hospitality and warmth of the hotel’s owners Tomek & Malgo.They were always present and assisted each client personally.Especially for people like me travelling solo I felt safe at that hotel. Wonderfully designed hotel with a wonderful staff just 1 minute from the beautiful beach. The room feels luxurious and comfortable, with great decoration and wooden furniture. The restaurant and pool area are beautiful and relaxing. The yoga classes are a nice bonus and the food in the restaurant is delicious with most dishes served generously. The cocktails are recommended. The best part is the dedicated staff, both at reception, the restaurant, the security and the cleaning staff. Particular thanks go to Sharif, Mongola, Shumu and Frida, and to the wonderful cleaning team with their attention to details. A great place for celebrating a special occasion!

The rooms were clean and had a beautiful sea view & view of the sunrise over the ocean. The staff was amazing, Kassia and Pawel were incredible hosts and everyone did their best to help us with any requests we had, we felt very welcome. We stayed here for a few days after safari for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect location to relax. We stayed in a King Suite and it had an incredible view out to the ocean, and a perfect sea breeze to cool down in the evenings. The room was gorgeous, and everything about the hotels decor is beautiful. Food in the restaurant is delicious including breakfast, and the cooking class and reef walk were both really fun. Two pools to choose between, a beach bar, and directly on the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!
