Hotel is new, clean and quit in old Phuket town. Bim and Ake are really friendly, ready to help you with everything what you are needing or looking for. They gave us many info, tips, proposals and it was a pitty, that we spent there just one night. They picked us up in the morning and we had awesome breakfast in the local restaurant with them. Wonderful overnight stay, the location is excellent and the place is just beautiful. The owners reconstructed the place to keep the traditional Phuket's Chinese migrant vibe (the original house owner was a wealthy Chinese man who married a Thai woman), while making the whole place very luxurious and modern. On some floors there is something like a museum where you can see the history of the place and how would've the roooms looked like back in time with old furniture, photos and some collector art pieces. The staff will be very happy to tell you about the history and the displayed pieces in the exposition, so it was a huge plus. The breakfast is excellent and you can try the local dishes (i had this tasty black peppery meat porridge with an egg), PLUS you get a set of traditional sweets and fresh fruit. I have no idea who can eat all this for breakfast, you would have to be an elephant. We couldn't even finish the huge first course so we had our sweets and fruit packed for take away to eat them later, they were delicious. Beds were comfortable and room nicely decorated too.

    A lovely, walkable old town, with sino-portugese buildings, some great little restaurants, and easy access to many islands, as well as the rest of Phuket. Always worth a night or two as part of any trip to the area.

    Old town is lovely romantic.

    Old town is lovely romantic. Don’t miss the Sunday market the food options are endless and all delicious. I favoured Michelangelos bar as the staff treated me like family. And several nearby restaurants served some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. A lot to do in old town but be sure to also visit the beaches. I would stay near the beach and visit old town when not on the beach

    Lots of places to eat & drink and everything I tried was deleicious. It's a much quieter alternative to other locations in Phuket but has enough going on if you want a quieter, more laid back experience. The Sunday Night markets were a great distraction and had a huge amount of stalls with everything from food, crafts and clothing.

    The bustle and lively vibe of Phuket Old town is well worth visiting. We loved the evening market on Sunday night - it’s got to be experienced. The architecture mixed with the smells and tastes and sounds is something you’ll love if you like shopping and food. The out of centre shopping centres are also very good, clean, and full of great brands. The royal marina is lovely too - worth a visit and especially if you’re going to one of the many islands.

    We stayed in old town, which was quiet and perfect for us. We did go to Patong beach and Bangla road for the nightlife and for the experience, it was a lot of fun! 2 nights was a perfect amount of time in Phuket for us!

    Everything was so clean and comfy, ohhh and the staff were so incredibly nice and give always there best!!! The Breakfast oh my gosh!!!! it was one of the best I ever had!!! every morning they make all fresh by there own and you will definitely taste it ( yes for people who prefer western style there is not much, but damn it your in Thailand and not in Europe or states) Next time Phuket old town we will definitely come again!!!! highly recommend Shunli Hotel and there awesome Team!!!

    Staff are very nice and accommodating! Close to the Sunday night market and pier. Really good restaurant outside called Mom kitchen and library - great chicken with cashews. Clean, water bottle refilled every day, quick laundry service. Can use bolt to get to beaches for like 250 Bhat. Note that if you’re coming from the airport they have a shuttle bus which takes a little over an hour to get to the hotel, it’s for 100 bhat PP which is more convenient/ cheaper than getting a taxi.

    Great staff - very attentive, kind people! They can help with many things. Cleaning is good, pretty big pool (by Thailand standards), interesting talkative people all around :) the hotel is in the center of the island and that gives you opportunity to visit any beach on a rented bike.

    One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Extremely clean, quiet, and in the middle of old Phuket town. The staffs were very polite and helpful. Though the stay is the cheapest I've had in Thailand, it came with breakfast and they even gave a souvenir. Would highly recommend.
