Our stay at Triple J Hometel was great, accommodation was clean and the apartment very cosy and modernly furnished. The owner lady is helpful and super nice. Definitely recommended when you want to chill a bit away from the main touristic attractions. There is also a possibility to rent a scooter.

The location is excellent and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is lively with live music at night. Food at the restaurant is also very good. The manager Pat was very kind. The hotel offers free shuttle to boat avenue and beach every half an hour. That is very convenient.

Ok, real talk. This place is amazing. We've stayed in 5 star hotels before on this trip so didn't have very high expectations for this one given it was 4 stars and the photos on Booking.com were unamusing at best. BOOOOY were we wrong. This place shattered all our expectations and was definitely our favourite place to stay from 6 places in our month-long trip with our two little kids. Don't know where to start with the awesomeness. The rooms are well thought out and well appointed. The hotel set-up is incredibly clever with 4 large (or 6 total depending how you want to count) pools for different people/activities. There's two slides for kids. The bar is fantastic. The breakfast is incredible. Staff are amazing. Restaurant is great also for lunch and dinner. This is a concept hotel so has a bunch of free activities throughout the day (including kids club, activities, shows put on by professional performers, table tennis, volleyball etc). You don't have to participate but I highly recommend you do! Their kids club is fantastic - our kids really enjoyed the staff there.Lollo (giraffe character) and Bernie (bear character) come round to greet children 3 times daily if you needed a cherry on the cake. It is located right on the beach for awesome sand play and swimming. Can also rent a jetski/boat etc right there. Great location. It also has local restaurants and massages right next door if you want. Overall couldn't have asked for a better experience to end our trip.

Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped, bed was huge and comfortable, pools are really enjoyable, breakfast is really good, service is extremely friendly: one day they noticed that it was my birthday and they left a special gift in our room (these are the small details that make a big difference). Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

I always looked fwd to going down to the beach to get a great massage, free loungers & friendly people. Alot of new development happening around the area, but lots of little shops & restaurants to visit & a great tattooist - Shark tattoo Be careful of some of the taxis though, outside the supermarket they tried to charge twice the amount as they could see we were tourists. We used Grab the whole time we were there.

Not best option in Phuket, too little entertainments around, you need to go too much for markets, poor choice of restaurants around, no nice massages. Large width of beach is the only advantage More southern parts of phuket (Karon, Kata) can provide more rich and nice experience

Friday night market in Boat Avenue was great! We ate lots of delicious foods and this was our favourite night market that we have visited in Asia. Bang Tao beach is clean and in close proximity to other beaches as well.

Bang Tao is a beautiful beach and to stay in the area means...

Bang Tao is a beautiful beach and to stay in the area means that you are never very far from it. It's very quiet (compared to areas like Patong!) and I loved walking the beach at sunset to find one of the lovely beachfront bars or seafood restaurants. It's also quite an easy scooter (I use Grab) ride to Nai Thon beach which is gorgeous, with a strip of markets, shops, massage spots and more bars and cafes.

The beach was amazing; you just need to be careful during nighttime because the water starts moving forward. Along the beach, there are many cafes and restaurants. We loved the fire show in Nomad Cafe.

I think it was my third time visiting this hotel for the past 10 years, and I have always enjoyed my stay here so far. I believe that Banyan Tree is one of the best hotels to stay while you are visiting Phuket, as it provides you with everything you need - a range of good restaurants, fine in-room dining, leisure facilities, etc. The hotel’s staff is also extremely polite and helpful.

-Great resort located as close to beautiful Bang Tao beach as you can get! Rooms were comfortable and pretty, staff helpful and polite and all facilities were spotlessly clean. Big positives were 3 huge cools, heaps of variety at the breakfast buffet and the spa. -The area is nice and quiet with lots of colourful local run bars and a very handy 7/11 right across the road

Love the ambience and decor of the hotel. The Pavilion has the most friendly staff and they made our stay so welcoming and enjoyable. There were so many beautiful hotel in Phuket and compared to the others, I love the “Thai style” decor which is unique, and the friendly and cheerful staff is what makes us love this hotel
