Picturesque town on the water.

Gothenburg is a very lovely city in the western coast of Sweden, the second largest city in Sweden after Stockholm. The living style in this city is very relaxing, not too crowded or large like Stockholm, but the facilities in the city are very extraordinary. Gothenburg is a very nice travel destination for families! We loved Alfons Åbergs Kulturhus, which is an interactive museum (for kids under 7, I would say). In Universeum, there are cool science exhibits, an aquarium and a terrarium, a rainforest to explore, and much more (all ages!). The botanical garden is perfect for picnics and strolls. There are many well-maintained playgrounds throughout the city. You can also take a boat ride through the canals or along the coast. It depends on your expactations.
It depends on your expactations. It is a big busy city and it feels just like that. The trams and busses are always there. There are a lot of shops but is that really how you want to spend your time all of the time? When i was there the renovations where always there on every corner of the street.
