This is an older bank building cnverted into a hotel and it is a very interesting place to stay. The reception/lounge area is very inviting and the breakfast offerings were quite nice as well.

The property was excellent. The room was comfortable and compact as it said on the site. I had dinner in the restaurant and this exceeded my expectations as did the breakfast choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend, and I would stay again.

    We were there in mid-winter, just passing through.

    We were there in mid-winter, just passing through. However, from walking the dog in the evening and the morning, it felt like a nice and very quiet (and affluent) area. It would be interesting to see how it is in the summer - it felt like the sort of area that would be great for walking/hiking and perhaps cycling.
